MINNEAPOLIS, Sept. 30, 2009 – The M Group Creative will speak at the Minnesota Developers Conference (MDC) put on by ilm services and held at the McNamara Alumni Center on the campus of the University of Minnesota. This year’s conference centers around green technology: Code Clean, Think Green. Event speakers will discuss innovative ways developers are “going green” and some of the best practices associated with these trends.
The M Group’s Sara Harrell and Michael Bingham will speak at this year’s event on the topic ‘Developing for Multi-Touch Experiences.’ Sara leads Marketing and Business Development for The M Group and Michael is one of the agency’s key Interactive Strategists. Together they will explore the evolution of touch-technology and what’s ahead for experience development with the upcoming launch of Windows 7, scheduled to release in October.
“From this session attendees will learn the latest advancements in software and the .NET platform.” says Sara Harrell “Taking a first hand look at developing for Microsoft Surface.” The M Group’s speakers will showcase best practices for Surface development and things for both branders and developers to consider as they create more meaningful and rich interactive applications.
For this year’s MDC, The M Group developed a specific conference application on Microsoft Surface to help event attendees gain full access to the conference’s offering. The Surface will be in front of The M Group’s booth for attendees to access schedules, search for speakers, and learn about the different tracks offered throughout the event.
ilm services partnered with The Recycling Association of Minnesota (RAM) to plan the conference theme and promote environmental awareness. The conference offers in-depth technical sessions to software veterans to learn about the latest advancements in SilverLight, .NET 4.0, and the Alt.NET movement.
