Minnesota Publication Features Marketing Expertise of The M Group   |   November 7, 2010

MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 9, 2010 – New Business Minnesota, the monthly guide for emerging businesses, will feature The M Group’s approach for building a successful business through the development of a marketing plan.

On behalf of The M Group, Janessa Meyer will contribute an article to the December edition of New Business Minnesota’s monthly newspaper. Early in 2011, she will present at a New Business Minnesota event for entrepreneurs and marketing professionals. In addition to The M Group’s presentation, Dick Bloom from SCORE will share tips about writing a successful business plan.

Defining an internal marketing plan is an important task for companies to address as the year draws to a close and as leadership teams look to the New Year. Business is not static and a marketing plan shouldn’t be either. As with any other piece of a business, it’s important to take assess which parts of a marketing plan have succeeded and which parts have not.

“Marketing professionals, leadership personnel and business owners, in particular, must look at the company’s strategic business plan and what they’re doing to amplify their initiatives,” Meyer says. “A marketing plan is a dynamic element of a business plan, and attending to it closely can achieve remarkable success for a business.”

Marketing requires goal setting, defining the messages to communicate, budgeting and measuring results. Meyer will also share The M Group’s approach to identifying key selling propositions and points of differentiation for its clients.
